Rural Durham Community Research Network Funded Project
We are delighted to have been selected to be funded through the Rural Durham Community Research Network to conduct our research project – ‘How do women access support for domestic abuse in rural communities in County Durham’. We are attending a network event on 16th September to introduce our research project to local organisations, professionals and fellow researchers.

Foundation for Good King’s Award
On Monday 14th September we were invited to attend the presentation of the King’s Award for Voluntary Service to the Foundation for Good in Consett. We enjoyed networking with volunteers from the Foundation for Good and professionals from other local organisations. We spoke with the Lord Lieutenant of County Durham about our work and the commitment needed to stamp out domestic abuse across our society. We enjoyed a wonderful buffet in their new Wellbeing Cafe, opening soon.
